任钟鸣于2014年获得英国Nottingham Trent University产品设计博士学位，主要研究产品生态设计与优化方法，有工程学和机械制造背景。熟练掌握LCA软件，LCIA方法及数据库。

任博士参与欧盟环保相关项目“myEcoCost”和“cycLED”，多次赴德、英、比等工业合作方调查并采集数据。曾为英国最大的医药及美容产品制造经销商BootsUK和比利时一家全球最大的生态清洁用品及洗涤用品厂商ECOVER所生产的产品进行过生命周期评价（LCA）并提出优化方案。同时，还为项目建立生命周期目录（LCI）数据库并完成了数据库的编辑和导出工作。在cycLED项目中为德国Braun所生产的LED路灯进行了LCA等相关工作。

另外，任博士曾身兼商业顾问，为当地企业提供的办公桌进行过LCA。在校曾任SimaPro特约讲师，CAD/CAM助教。还与诺丁汉大学和当地中小企业合作设计过人工智能加湿器。

Dr. Zhongming Ren

LCA and sustainable product design expert and consultant of 1mi1 platform.

Zhongming received PhD in Product Design at Nottingham Trent University in 2014. With background of engineering and mechanical manufacture, his research focuses on sustainable product design approach and optimisation. He masters a number of mainstream LCA software package including SimaPro, openLCA and etc, and understands various LCIA methods and databases.

As a post-doc research fellow, he has anticipated in two European projects related to environment protection, ‘myEcoCost’ and ‘cycLED’, and investigated industrial partners’ sites in Germany, Great Britain, and Belgium to gather data. In the former one, he has implemented LCA and proposed optimisation scheme for BootsUK and ECOVER, which are the largest pharmacy and beauty manufacturer in the UK and the largest brand making ecological cleaning and washing product from Belgium. Meanwhile, he has set up and configured LCI database for the project. In the latter one, he has built the official website and implemented LCA for Braun’s LED street light.

As a business advisor, he has implemented LCA for office desk provided by local SME. He was guest lecturer of SimaPro, CAD/CAM teaching assistant in the University. He has designed AI humidifier collaborating with University of Nottingham and local SME.
